It depends. If you’re an author, we’ll share the information available to us about papers you have written. We don’t share personal information about users or visitors with other users (like what you read or your log-in information). You can choose to add third-party integrations to your Meta account; you control these integrations, and using them means you’ll be choosing to share certain information with these providers, like when you save a paper to your Mendeley library.
Please note that, like any online service, we use vendors to help deliver Meta, such as Amazon Web Services. These service providers have limited rights to use data that we provide them and we require that they have measures in place to secure it from unauthorized access and use.
